Abstract
Estimated emissions of gases from Khoms steam and gas power stations in North-Western Libya
by computer simulation reveal that SO2, NOx emissions exceed selected international standard limits. The
results highlight the need for improved operational procedures to minimize emissions, reduce equipment
degradation and avoid any possible adverse environmental effects.
