نبذة مختصرة
Alaa Al-Waisy is a PhD student at Bradford University, He received his BSc in 2009 and MSc in 2011 in computer science from Al-Anbar University. He has worked as a lecturer at Al-Ma'aref University College (Iraq) for three years. Through this period he has taught many subjects, such as the operating system, logic design and object oriented programming (OOP) and he has supervised on a number of bachelor's projects at the computer science department in different areas such as image processing, pattern recognition, visual cryptography and texture classification. Al-Waisy served as the head of the labs unit at Al-Ma'aref University College. His research interests include: pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision, medical imaging, designing and implementing unimodal and multimodal biometric systems.
