نبذة مختصرة
Mahmoud Bakr was born in Assiut, Egypt, on 1978. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Assiut University, Egypt in 1999 and 2007, respectively. He received the PhD degree in particles and accelerators physics from Kyoto University, Kyoto Japan in 2011 with the dissertation “Studies on the Reduction of Back Bombardment Effect in Thermionic RF Guns Using Different Cathode Materials”. From Oct. 2011 to April 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Kyoto University Japan, where his research filed was related to THz and Photocathode RF guns, as he participated to design and optimize electron beam and FEL parameters for THz amplifier project in Kyoto University. From June 2012 to Oct. 2012, he was a visiting researcher at Photo Injector Test facility at Zeuthen site (PITZ), Germany. From Sep. 2014 to Sep. 2015, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at PITZ, Germany, where his research was related to emission performance, brightness, and electron beam emittance determination and optimiza
