I am Dedicated and active Scientist with 18 years of experience in Genetics and Animal Breeding, 8 years’ experience in Molecular Genetics Tools and Applications. Assisted in research on bioinformatics, molecular genetics experiments Utilized various research techniques including DNA extraction (isolation and purification), PCR, DNA sequence analysis, Protein 3D structure analysis, etc., well known knowledge of genetic markers such as SNP, RFLP and their application in the Animal Production field, statistical software tools used in animal breeding and genetics (Quantitative Trait Analysis), leading to successful publications and (under publication) in well-known journals.
An excellent team worker and strong builder of prolific collaborations in different aspects of basic and applied research leading to long-lasting research projects, successfully detected of novel mutation in FecB sheep gene for the first time in Sudanese Desert sheep population (under publication) and the gene sequence has been published in the GenBank (NCBI), genetic mutations in the fecundity genes that have been studied in three different population of Sudanese Desert sheep, many genetic variants were predicted in these sheep such as gene frequencies & genotypes frequencies and their association with studied traits, using a bioinformatics approach for translation and, production system and morphometric measurements of the Sudanese Desert sheep, in addition to the phenotypic and genetic characterization of Holstein Friesian cows and their performance under the conditions of Sudan.
