Abstract
Pollution from pesticides is the main result of technological development to the area of agriculture, the pesticide Acetamiprid (AC) is an organchlorine family of next generation, it is checked by daily doses for short -term, but there is a risk in case o f chronicity, the objective of our study was to study the neurotoxicity of AC on the biochemical and behavioral plan. The results obtained in his brain mitochondria, after the administration of AC to 3.14 mg/kg/day and Quercetine to 10 mg/kg of body weight orally for 90 days, show that AC caused neurotoxicity overall pro -oxidant, this is revealed by the significant decrease in GSHmito, and the enzymatic activity of CATmito, on one hand, and on the other hand, we recorded an increase in the enzymatic activity of the GSTmito and the rate MDAmito. These results clearly present the neurotoxic effect of Acetamiprid and the preventive effect of Quercetin on the body.
