ان طبيعة العمل في المجال الرياضي تتطلب من الفرد ان يتأقلم مع الظروف التي تحدث في مجال العمل وهذا يعتمد على ما يتصف بة الفرد من سمات شخصية تؤهله لمواجه التغيرات والظروف الصعبة والتقلبات التي تحدث لان طبيعة العمل الرياضي تحتاج الى سرعة في اتخاذ القرار وخاصة أثناء المنافسات اضافه الى دور الخبرة في هذا المجال التي تساعد في تقوية شخصية مدرب الألعاب .
حيث ان تراكم الضغوط المهنية المختلفة قد تسبب ضغطا كبيرا على مدرب الألعاب قد تصل الى حد الاحتراق فيما إذا كان لا يتميز بشخصية تؤهله لمواجه هكذا ضغوط .
لذا فأن أهمية البحث تكمن في التعرف على السمات الشخصية والضغوط المهنية التي يواجهها مدرب الألعاب وعلاقة هذة السمات بالضغوط المهنية .
