ملخص :
على الرغم من المكاسب الكثيرة و الرائعة التي حققتها المرأة العربية مؤخرا ، فإنه لا يزال هناك العديد من المعوقات و الصعوبات التي تحول دون تفعيل مشاركة حقيقية للنساء في الوطن العربي. إذ تعتبر مشاركة المرأة في الحياة السياسية والمجتمعية مؤشر ومقياس على تقدم وتحضر المجتمع ، إذ لم يمنع الضغط الممارس على النساء من مشاركة هذه الأخيرة في الثورات التي شهدتها مختلف الدول العربية مؤخرا ، هذا و تكمن أهمية الإعلام في إبراز قضية المرأة و الدفع بها إلى الأمام، إذ يلعب الإعلام دورا مهما في إبراز دور المرأة مع الإشارة إلى المفاهيم المتعلقة بحقوقها في التعليم و المشاركة الاجتماعية و السياسية و شغل المناصب العامة و اختيار الزوج و الأمومة و غيرها من الوظائف من خلال الوسائل الإعلامية المتعددة .

Despite the impressiveachievements made recently by Arab women, there are still many obstacles and difficulties that prevent their real participation. Arab women participation in political and community life can be considered as an indicator of progress and development of a society. Notably, the pressure exerted on women has not prevented their participation in the recent revolutions witnessed by various Arab countries. The importance of the media lies in highlighting women's issues and pushing them forward. In fact, the media plays an important role in highlighting the role of women, with reference to concepts related to their rights to education, social and political participation, maternity and other roles and challenges and thus through the diffrent media representation.
