الخلاصة
تضمنت هذه الدراسة تحضير نماذج من البولي استر غير المشبع واخرى من البولي استر غير المشبع المدعم بدقائق الالمنيوم (Al-powder)ومن ثم دراسة بعض الخصائص الميكانيكية والفيزيائية بعد غمرها بمحاليل قاعدية من (NaOH) وبتراكيز عيارية مختلفة (N=1,N=2,N=3) .وقد تم القياس في فترات زمنية مختلفة (7-90) يوم للغمر لنماذج البولي استر.
تم دراسة امتصاصية النماذج لمحاليل الغمر عن طريق اختلاف قيم الوزن كما تم حساب معامل الانتشار لها .شملت الدراسة أيضا حساب قيم خشونة السطح ثم قياس الصلادة للنماذج وتأثير التدعيم على الخواص المدروسة كما اجريت مقارنة للخواص قبل وبعد الغمر للبولي استرغير المشبع قبل وبعد التدعيم .
تم استنتاج ان الخواص المدروسة اعلاه تتأثر سلبا بالمحلول القاعدي قيد الدراسة وخاصة بزيادة تركيز الوسط المذكور وطول زمن التعرض له ، على الرغم من ان البولي استر غير المشبع بدقائق الالمنيوم قد حسن اداءه في اطالة عمره عند تعرضه لمثل هذه الظروف.
Abstract
This work includes preparing of composite specimens composed of plain unsaturated polyester and reinforced unsaturated polyester with aluminium powder.
Some mechanical and physical properties were studied after immersing the specimens with base solutions of different normality and the measurements were taken after different periods of time (7-90 days).
The absorption of the specimens after immersing in the solutions was studied by taken in to account the weight variation ,then the diffusion. coefficient was calculated too. Also the surface roughness and hardness were measured for the specimens and the effect of reinforcing on the properties was studied. A comparsion between the properties before and the after the immersing was carried on.It was calculated that the properties effected badly with base solutions, specially when the normality is high with period of exposure. In spite of reinforcing the unsaturated polyester had been improved its behavior and extended its life when it,s exposed to conditions similar to this.
