هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد حجم فجوة الموارد المحلية التي يعاني منها الاقتصاد الفلسطيني، وتحليل تطوراتها خلال الفترة 1995 – 2012.
توصّلت الدراسة إلى أن الادخار المحلي يعجز عن تغطية الاستثمار المحلي، وبالتالي الاعتماد على مصادر التمويل الخارجي لتغطية فجوة الموارد المحلية.
قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من الآليات والمقترحات لعلاج فجوة الموارد المحلية من خلال تبني استراتيجية تمويل فجوة الموارد المحلية بالاعتماد على الذات لتجنب الاقتصاد الفلسطيني من احتمالية نشوء أية تشوهات أو اختناقات مرافقة لعملية التنمية في المستقبل.
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the size of the domestic resource gap that the Palestinian economy suffers from, and to analyze its developments during the period 1995-2012.
The study found that local savings are unable to cover local investment, and thus rely on external funding sources to cover the local resource gap.
The study presented a set of mechanisms and proposals to remedy the local resource gap by adopting a strategy to finance the local resource gap by self-reliance to avoid the Palestinian economy from the possibility of any distortions or bottlenecks accompanying the development process in the future.
