تعد الصحة مطلباً أساسيا، وهدفاً استراتيجيا تسعى دول العالم، ومنظماته، وأفراده، إلى بلوغه، وتعمل جاهدة على تحقيقه،
من أجل حياة صحية سليمة، يسهم من خلالها الفرد في جهود التنمية المختلفة له، ولأسرته، ومجتمعه.
والصحة تتأثر بشكل واضح بالبيئة الاجتماعية التي تفرض على الفرد اتباع أساليب معينة من اجل الحفـاظ عليهـا )أي
صحته(، وهنا فأنّه يتمثل السلوكيات التي تعتمدها بيئته الاجتماعية لتصبح جزءاً أساسياً من شخصيته. هذا التمثل الذي يبدو واضحاً
في تبنيه لمفاهيم وتصورات صحية تسهم في الحفاظ على سلامة صحته الجسمانية والنفسية.
وهذا ما يجعل البيئة الاجتماعية تلعب دوراً مهما في بلورة مفهوم الوعي الصحي لدى الأفراد وتشكيل سلوكيات معيارية
تتبنى منهجاً ورؤية ثابتة للتعامل مع المعوقات التي تقف أمام ممارسة الفرد لحياته بشكل طبيعي

The health is basic and strategic aim and all states, organizations and individuals seeking to
achieve it for safety and healthy life. Moreover, it is necessary to make all individuals major
contributors in development efforts for their families and community.
Health is clearly effected by social environment which pushing person to depend specific
methods for improve his health. So, the common behaviors in the social environment were became
important part of his character. Also, this effect is clearly appear by the adoption of concepts contribute
to the preservation of the psychological and physical health of individuals.
Therefore, social environment play an important role in creating health consciousness among
individuals and standard behaviors which depending approaches and fixed vision for dealing with the
individual's challenges to live their lives.
