قبل ان تطوي ذاكرة الزمن صفحة من بين صفحاتها، لابد من الإشارة إلى وجود جماعة اجتماعية واقتصادية مهمة، وهي (الجماعة اليهودية)، التي عاشت في محافظة عراقية مهمة أيضا، هي محافظة ميسان أو (لواء العمارة) كما كانت تسمى سابقا، منذ تأسيس مدينة العمارة سنة 1861 وحتى تهجيرهم منها سنة 1952، ان دراسة مثل هذا الموضوع، سيكون ذا أهمية خاصة في تاريخ العراق المعاصر، ولاسيما بالنسبة للأجيال التي لم تعاصر تلك المرحلة التاريخية، لإعطاء صورة واضحة عن نسق الحياة الاجتماعية التي كانت سائدة فيها.
Abstract
