هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن درجة قيام المشرفين الأكاديميين بالجامعات الفلسطينية لأدوارهم الإشرافية على الرسائل العلمية من وجهة نظر طلبتهم، وكذلك الكشف عما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد العينة لهذا الدور تعزى إلى المتغيرات (النوع الاجتماعي ، كلية التخصص، الجامعة). ولهذا الغرض استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وطبقت أداة عبارة عن استبانة مكونة من (48) مفردة موزعة على (4) مجالات، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (270) طالبا وطالبة من المسجلين في برامج الدراسات العليا في (الجامعة الإسلامية ، وجامعة الأزهر) ، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية:
1- الدرجة الكلية لتقدير أفراد العينة لقيام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات الفلسطينية بأدوارهم الإشرافية على الرسائل العلمية كانت (70.6%) ، بحيث احتل المجال المتعلق بـ " الأدوار الإشرافية المتعلـقة بالنواحي التنظيمية والقيادية " المركز الأول بوزن نسبي (%73.1 ) والمجال المتعلق بـ " الأدوار الإشرافية المتعلـقة بتكوين الطالب ومهاراته العلمية " المركز الأخير بوزن نسبي ( 68.8%)
2- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تقديرات أفراد العينة لمدى قيام أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات الفلسطينية بأدوارهم الإشرافية على الرسائل العلمية تعزى إلى جميع متغيرات الدراسة في جميع المجالات الأربعة.
وقد أوصى الباحث بما يلي:
1- ضرورة وضع حد أقصى من عمليات الإشراف على الرسائل العلمية للمشرفين ، لضمان تنويع المدارس الفكرية.
2- توفير برامج التنمية المهنية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في مجال الإشراف على الرسائل العلمية ، مع اعتبار المشاركة في مثل هذه البرامج أحد الشروط الضرورية عند تعيين المشرفين من قبل مجالس الأقسام ومجالس الكليات .
3- الاحتفاظ بسجلات خاصة عن تقدم الطالب في كل فصل دراسي تمهيداً لتقديم تقرير سنوي عن تقدمه في الدراسة لمجلس الكلية .
Abstract
The study aimed to find out the extent which faculty members at Palestinian universities roles supervisory Theses from the perspective of their students, and also, to find out the statistically significant differences at the level of the average ratings of the sample for this role due to the variables (gender, specialization, university). For this purpose, the researchers used the descriptive method of analysis, and applied the tool is a questionnaire consisting of (48) items distributed on (4) domains, has formed the study sample of (270) students enrolled in graduate programs in (the Islamic University and Al Azhar University) , The study conclude the following results:
1. The total degree to assess the respondents to the faculty members in Palestinian universities roles supervisory Theses were (70.6%), so that occupied the area on the "oversight roles related to organizational aspects and leadership," the first position relative weight (% 73.1) and field on the "oversight roles related to composition of the student and scientific skills "last place relative weight (68.8%)
2. No statistically significant differences in the estimates of the sample to the extent to which faculty members at Palestinian universities supervisory roles of the Theses are due to all the variables of the study in all four areas.
The researchers recommended the following:
1- A maximum limit of the supervision of thesis supervisors, to ensure the diversification of school property.
2- Organize professional development programs for faculty members on theses supervision, with consideration to participate in such programs are necessary when one of the conditions set by the boards of supervisors of the departments and colleges.
3- Keep records on the progress of students in each semester in preparation to submit an annual report on its progress in the study for the College Board.
