إن الاتصال بين المراهقين والبالغين صعب إلى الحد الذي يشك كثير من المهنيين المسؤولين بإمكانية إقامة الجسور بين الجيلين في مثل هذا المجتمع السريع الحركة، وكل ما يأملونه هو التسامح المتبادل والتعايش السلمي. وعلى الرغم من أن ايجاد علاقة تعاطفية حقيقية بين البالغين والمراهقين من الصعوبة بمكان، فإن من المأمول بأن إدراك بعض القوى المؤثرة في دور المراهقة قد يساعد على فهم أفضل لهذه الفترة من حياة الإنسان وقد يؤدي إلى علاقات واقعية وبناءة وتسامح أكبر بين البالغين والمراهقين على حد السواء.
Abstract
Communication between teens and adults is so difficult that many responsible professionals doubt that bridges can be built between the two generations in such a fast-moving society, and all they hope for is mutual tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Although finding a true sympathetic relationship between adults and adolescents is extremely difficult, it is hoped that an awareness of some of the forces affecting the adolescence period may help a better understanding of this period of human life and may lead to realistic, constructive relationships and greater tolerance between adults and adolescents alike.
