Ultrastructure of spermatogenesis in the bivalve Donax vittatus during the period from March 2010 to August 2010 was done. Investigated specimens were collected monthly from the northern Mediterranean Sea coast of Gamasa (31° 30` N and 31° 30` E), Egypt. The different stages of spermatogenesis were investigated. The results revealed that spermatogonia, primary and secondary spermatocytes and spermatids are similar to many other bivalves. Though, spermatozoa showed some deviation in the typical structure found in Herterodonta.
