ركزت الدراسة على دراسة إسهامات أنثروبولوجيا الاستشراق في حفظ التراث الإسلامي "الاستشراق البريطاني نموذجا"؛فعرض الباحث نشأة الاستشراق البريطاني، ووضحت الد راسة العلاقة بين الاستشراق بشكل عام والأنثروبولوجيا، وعلاقة الاستشراق البريطاني وعلم الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية بشكل خاص،وعلاقة علم الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية بالاحتلال البريطاني؛
Abstract
The study focused on the works of British Orientalists and scholars on Islamic literature. The common view is that Britain was not a prominent contributor to discussions on Islamic literature,
British efforts compared to those of other Europeans to study the Islamic literature heritage. From my research, it can be safely stated that British scholars made an important contribution to Islamic literature, adding considerably to our knowledge in this field. However, the interest of the British school in these studies is recent compared with that of other European Orientalist schools
