يمتلك بلدنا مخزون تراثي ، وآثاري ، وعمراني ضخم يمثل ذاكرة الأمة ، ويعانى هذا المخزون من العديد
من المشاكل لأسباب عديدة منها ضعف القدرات المادية للدول أو عدم قدرة سياسات الحفاظ المتبعة على
التعامل مع الواقع بكل مشاكله وتعقيداته أو عدم وجود وعى جماهيري بأهمية التراث وضرورة المحافظة
عليه وإحيائه..... وتكمن المشكلة البحثية في تعاظم أهمية الحفاظ على التراث المعماري والعمراني في ظل
متغيرات العصر والتوجه نحو العولمة باعتباره ركيزة أساسية من ركائز العمق الحضاري والهوية وداعما
للقيم المجتمعية وفى نفس الوقت ضعف وقصور أداء سياسات الحفاظ التي لا تتجاوز مفهوم أن التراث
مناطق أو مباني يجب المحافظة عليها من خلال رؤية متحفية لها، وبالتالي كان لابد من البحث في كيفية
صياغة مفاهيم جديدة لعملية الحفاظ على التراث المعماري والعمراني في عالمنا اليوم ، تتوافق مع التوجهات
الجديدة وتحوله إلى قوة مؤثرة في حركة تنمية وتطور المجتمع متجاوزا دوره التقليدي حتى يصبح مصدرا
وباعثا لإبداعات المعماريين ومرجعية لأفكارهم ونتاجهم مما يمكن المجتمعات من مواجه خطر ذوبان الهوية
وتدعيم العلاقة بين الاطراف الثلاثة :المعمارى– المجتمع -التراث
Abstract
