The study addressed 'the strategies of dealing with the violent wife and its relationship to
marital compatibility' and aimed to find out: the strategies of dealing most commonly used by
the violent wife. To contribute to marital compatibility and to reveal the existence of
differences in the sample of battered wives in their usage of the strategy of dealing with the
duration of the marriage and the level of marital compatibility.
The researchers used the descriptive and clinical approaches, and the sample of the study
estimated 07wives suffering violence by her husband while she was still in the matrimonial
home, and the student relied on the method of snowball in her choice of sample.
They were applied to the 63-paragraph strategy of engagement and the 63-paragraph marital
compatibility questionnaire, and the honesty and consistency of the study tools were
confirmed based on several statistical methods
The researchers also used clinical screening techniques such as clinical interview, observation
and projection testing to understand the TAT topic with two cases of spousal violence.
After processing the study data based on different statistical methods by 22SPSS.
•The most frequently used strategies of dealing with the violent wife are as follows: emotion,
acceptance, religious aspect, problem solving, entertainment and social support.
Social support and problem-solving and emotional development are among the strategies for
dealing with marriage compatibility.
There are also differences in those who used the acceptance strategy for the duration of their
marriage of 21years old and over. In addition, there are differences in who have used the
