إن الواقع الذي تعيشه شخصية المسلم بات مكشوفاً لا يكاد يجهله أحد، فهي تعيش في وهن وركون بسبب الانحرافات التي التفت عليها من كل الجوانب لا سيما في العصر الحاضر، مما أدى إلى تفشي الاضطرابات والأزمات النفسية في وقتنا الحالي، فانحرفت في عقيدتها وفي عبادتها بسبب عدم رسوخ العقيدة الإيمانية، مما تقدم تتركز مشكلة البحث في: ما تأثير العقيدة الإسلامية في الأمن النفسي للمسلم، وتهدف الدراسة إلى توضيح تعريف العقيدة الإسلامية ومميزاتها، وإبراز دور العقيدة في الأمن النفسي للمسلم، وكذلك الكشف عن مدى تأثير العقيدة الصحيحة في حياة المسلم، وأتبع الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي والتحليلي للوصول إلى ركائز تساهم في تكوين الشخصية العقائدية التي تتمتع بعقلية هادفة وسلوك قويم، وتوصلت الدراسة بعدة نتائج أهمها: ترسيخ العقيدة الإيمانية في النفس الإنسانية من أنحج العلاجات النفسية، فهي تمنح الاستقرار والأمن النفسي نتيجة الاعتقاد الكامل بأن كل ما يصيب المسلم هو مكتوب ومقدر من الله تعالى.
