مما لا يخفى علينا أن للحرب على الجزائر الدور الفاعل في رسم أولى ملامح الفن التشكيلي المعاصر بالجزائر، و هذا ما يبدو جليا من خلال التكوين الذي خضع له أوائل الفنانين التشكيلين الجزائريين على يد نظرائهم الفرنسيين و الغربيين خاصة المستشرقون منهم، الذين لعبوا دورا هاما في إعطاء التشكيل الجزائري أولى خطواته من خلال أعمالهم الواقعية والتي لم تكن بريئة في معظم الأحيان، لكن سرعان ما انتهج الفنانون المعاصرون نهجا جديدا قائما على النهوض بالتقاليد و تجسيد الخصوصيات المحلية والحضارية في أعمالهم و منه الانفتاح على العالمية .
Abstract
It is no secret that the war on Algeria has an active role in shaping the first features of contemporary fine art in Algeria, which is evident through the composition of the first Algerian artists at the hands of their French and Western counterparts, especially orientalists, who played an important role in giving the Algerian formation its first steps through their real works, which were often not innocent, but contemporary artists soon adopted a new approach based on the advancement of traditions and the embodiment of local and cultural peculiarities. in their work and from it openness to the world.
