هذه التقنية لها تأثير كبير في مهنة الارشيفى فقد اتجه الارشيفى إلى الوسائل الالكترونية وأنظمة التخزين المصورة والوسائل المسموعة والمرئية كمحاولات لحل مشكلة التخزين والحفظ. وقد لجأ إلى أسلوب التصوير الضوئي بغرض جعل الوثائق الأصلية مناسبة للاستخدام من قبل المستفيدين . ولهذا يدب على الأرشيفي أن يكون ملماً إلماماً كاملاً بكيفية التعامل مع التقنيات الحديثة لحفظ وتخزين الوثائق .
Abstract
a great impact on the archival profession, as the archivist turned to electronic means, photo storage systems, and audio-visual means as attempts to solve the problem of storage and preservation. He resorted to the method of photocopying in order to make the original documents suitable for use by the beneficiaries. For this reason, the archivist must be fully conversant with how to deal with modern techniques for preserving and storing documents
