- Abstract
- We study the multiphoton dissociation of H2O Molecules when subjected to intense short laser pulses of wavelengths 532 nm and 355 nm delivered by Nd:YAG laser Harmonics. Stimulation emissions of intense spectral lines, of wavelengths in the red visible region were observed. The intensity of the emission lines dependences on laser beam wavelength and H2O phase (ice, liquid or vapor) was studied. The emission lines are H-alpha and the correlated photo-dissociation dynamics were studied as well.
