يضم هذا الكتاب مختصرات تتكون من حرف الى عدة حروف لمصطلحات فيزيائية وكيميائية واجهزتها التطبيقية مرتبة في جداول ومتسلسلة ابجديا حسب الحروف الانكليزية .
وقد تضمن الكتاب ذكر المختصر وما يشير اليه من كلمات مقابلة باللغة الانكليزية مع ترجمة الكلمات للغة العربية.
وشملت الجداول توضيح مبسط لبعض هذه المفاهيم والمختصرات والثوابت الفيزيائية باللغتين مع الإشارة للوحدات المستخدمة لتلك المختصرات. كما اضيفت رسومات توضيحية واشكال هندسية في اغلب صفحات الكتاب للمساعدة في فهم خصائص وسلوك المواد البلورية ومتعددة البلورات وعشوائية التركيب واجهزتها الالكترونية.
وادرجت رموز الخواص الفيزيائية للمواد الصلبة الالكترونية في جدول مع ذكر وحداتها الاساسية.
وتضمن الجزء الاخير من الكتاب قيم عملية لثوابت فيزيائية وخصائص المواد شبه الموصلة مستخدمة في الاجهزة والمعدات الالكترونية والبصرية لفائدة الباحثيين وطلبة الدراسات العليا في مجالات فيزياء الحالة الصلبة والاجهزة الالكترونية .
Abstract
This book includes abbreviations consisting of one letter or several letters of physical and chemical terms and their applied devices which are arranged in tables and sequenced alphabetically.
The book also includes the abbreviation and the corresponding expression in the English language, with the translation of the words into Arabic.
The tables include a simplified explanation of some of these concepts, abbreviations, and physical constants in both languages, with reference to the units used for those abbreviations. Illustrations and geometric shapes are also added to most of the pages of the book to help understanding the properties and behavior of conductors and semiconductor materials and their crystal & amorphous structure as well as related electronic devices.
The symbols for the physical properties of electronic solid materials are listed in a table with their basic units.
The last part of the book includes practical values of physical constants and properties of semiconductor materials used in electronic and optical devices for the benefit of researchers and postgraduate students in the fields of solid-state physics and the electronic devices.
