تعد الصناديق الاستثمارية تجميع لاموال الاشخاص الطبيعين او الاعتباريين لغرض اخضاعها لادارة تتولى تنميتها عبر استثمارها في ادوات استثمارية ومجالات اخر، فهي اداة من ادوات الاستثمار الجماعي بل وتعد من اهم وسائل تعبئة المدخرات لما تحققه من ارباح ونتائج واثار ايجابية على صعيد تنمية الاقتصاد الوطني وزيادة حركة السيولة المالية، فيكون لهذه الصناديق جهات متخصصة لادارتها والقيام بتحقيق اغراضها والتي تاسست من اجلها، فضلا عن توافر جهات اخر رقابية او اشرافية على عمل الصندوق.
