إن الوسائط الخاصة بتسجيل المعلومات اختلفت وتطورت مع كل عصر من العصور وان اختلفت هذه الوسائل فان المحتوى يبقى كما هو وعليه فإننا نسعى في العصر الحديث إلى استخدام وسائط مناسبة ومتطورة تساعدنا على الاسترجاع السريع للمعلومات كالتخزين الآلي الذي يسمح بحفظ واسترجاع كميات ضخمة من الوثائق تصل أحيانا إلى الملايين.
أن تقنية المعلومات أصبحت من الأدوات المهمة بالمؤسسات لما تقدمه من خدمات وأصبحت من السمات الرئيسية لأي مؤسسة تسعى إلى مواكبة التطور.
Abstract
