ABSTRACT: This study aimed at identifying the correlation relationship between body image, optimism, pessimism and feelings of psychological happiness among a sample of male and female adolescents at the secondary stage, as well as finding out adolescents differences in body Image optimism pessimism and psychological happiness. The study consisted of 160 Male and 170 female students at secondary stage. Body image, optimism and pessimism and feelings of psychological happiness scales were used of obtain data from respondents. Results showed statistically significant differences between male and female adolescents in body image in favor of males, as well as between males and females in favor of males on optimism degree. Results also showed a positive significant relationship between (body image, optimism, and feelings of psychological happiness), but a negative correlation relationship between optimism and each of body image, pessimism and feeling of psychological happiness.
