تهدف هذه الدراسة على تسليط الضوء على المدن الذكية المستدامة في المنطقة العربية، حيث أن المدن الذكية المستدامة نشأت كأحد الاستجابات الممكنة لتحديات المرونة والاستدامة الناجمة عن التوسع الحضري السريع غير المسبوق، وقد صممت لتوفير سلسلة من الحلول الذكية، القائمة أو غير القائمة على تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، الهادفة إلى تقليل الآثار الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية للتحديات الحضرية، كالفقر والرعاية الصحية وتغير المناخ والمياه والطاقة والخدمات الحكومية. وقد توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى عدة نتائح من أهمها، المدن الذكية هي عبارة عن مدن متصلة بالشبكة من خلال تقنيات إنترنت الأشياء ومبنية على أساس مشاركة البيانات لتحقيق أكبر قدر للاستفادة منها، كما تلعب المدن الذكية اليوم دورا مهما في الاقتصاد باعتبارها أحد محفزات النمو المستدام، وتساهم على المدى الطويل في تعزيز كفاءة استغلال الموارد المتاحة من خلال التقنيات الرقمية الناشئة وتحليلات البيانات المتقدمة، لتقديم خدمات عالية المستوى تساهم في تحسين مستوى النمو الاقتصادي والاستدامة البيئية وجودة الحياة، أيضا تسعى بعض الدول العربية إلى وضع الأسس وإرساء دعائم المشاريع المبتكرة لجعل مدنها ذكية، وذلك من خلال رسم السياسات والاستراتيجيات وإطلاق المشاريع والمبادرات الريادية بهدف الوصول إلى رؤية علمية تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. ولعل مدنا مثل أبو ظبي ودبي والرياض والمدينة المنورة والقاهرة والرباط تقود ابتكارات المدن الذكية في العالم العربي، كما تعمل بعض المدن الأخرى على تطوير سياساتها واستراتيجياتها لتأمين المتطلبات الجديدة واللحاق بهذا الركب.
Abstract
This study aims to highlight sustainable smart cities in the Arab region Sustainable smart cities have emerged as one possible response to the resilience and sustainability challenges of unprecedented rapid urbanization, Designed to provide a series of smart, existing or non-ICT solutions, aimed at reducing the economic, social and environmental impacts of urban challenges, such as poverty, health care, climate change, water, energy and government services. This study has reached several outcomes, the most important of which are smart cities that are connected to the network through IoT technologies and built on the basis of sharing data to make the most of them. Today's smart cities also play an important role in the economy as a catalyst for sustainable growth and contribute in the long run to enhancing the efficiency of utilization of available resources through emerging digital technologies and advanced data analysis, To provide high-quality services that contribute to improving economic growth, environmental sustainability and quality of life innovative projects to make their cities smart, Through the formulation of policies and strategies and the launching of pilot projects and initiatives with a view to achieving a scientific vision that contributes to sustainable development. Cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, Medina, Cairo and Rabat may lead the innovations of smart cities in the Arab world. Some other cities are also developing their policies and strategies to secure new requirements and catch up.
