Abstract
Abstract: Injection moulding is the most common method for producing plastic parts, and it is used in a wide range of processes across most manufacturing sectors. It is commonly used to mass-produce a specific part while ensuring that all the objects are consistent, which is critical for modular products that require highprecision manufacturing. Several individuals believe that new technologies such as 3D printing will replace injection moulding as the preferred process for mass-producing high-volume objects, injection moulding is constantly evolving, and there are new trends that will improve the process and keep the injection moulding industry at the forefront of manufacturing. Even though injection moulding process is used by a host of materials, plastic injection moulding is focused in this paper. This paper reviews some of the notable trends in the injection moulding process
