تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة دور مؤسسات التعليم العالي بالسودان في تحقيق متطلبات التنمية المستدامة، إضافة إلى إقتراح أليات ومنافذ للتطوير للخروج بمقترحات وتوصيات تساعد في تطوير أداء الجامعات والتحديات التي تواجهها في استخدام وسائل وطرق مختلفة لتحقيق وتطبيق التنمية المستدامة، وذلك من خلال إعتماد الدراسة على الأدبيات المنشورة المتصلة بموضوعها ومقارنتها والإستفادة من أداء مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الوطن العربي ودورها في تطبيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة على مختلف الجامعات والمعاهد العلمية، وبذلك يصبح التعليم العالي ومؤسسات البحث العلمي المختلفة من المرتكزات الأساسية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة للمجتمعات والدول .
Abstract
The Conference on Sustainable Development held by the United Nations in New York devoted the fourth goal to education, to ensure quality and inclusive education for all and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, as educational institutions are the basis for sustainable development, especially institutions of higher education and scientific research that seek to achieve sustainable development through interest in research, studies, conferences, seminars and others .
This study aims to know the role of higher education institutions in Sudan in achieving the requirements of sustainable development, in addition to proposing mechanisms and outlets for development to come up with proposals and recommendations that help develop the performance of universities and the challenges they face in using different means and methods to achieve and apply sustainable development, while clarifying the means and methods of achieving sustainable development in them, through the study's reliance on the published literature related to its subject and comparing it and benefiting from the performance of higher education institutions in the Arab world and their role in implementing sustainable development goals. On various universities and scientific institutes, thus making higher education and various scientific research institutions one of the main pillars for achieving sustainable development for societies and country.
