تُعرف النفايات الإلكترونية بأنها مخلفات العمليات والأنشطة التقنية المصاحبة والناشئة عن استخدام الأجهزة الإلكترونية المنتهية الصلاحية أو التالفة أو القديمة، إن وعي وإحساس الطلاب بالقضايا المشكلات البيئة ذات الصـلة بـالعلوم الطبيعية والتقدم التقني يقتضي إبراز المشكلات المعاصرة التي تساهم في تكوين المجتمع، ولهذا أجريت هذه الدراسة على طلاب كلية الآداب والعلوم توكرة العام الجامعي 2020– 2021 لمعرفة مدى وعي الطلبة بالمخلفات الإلكترونية، حيث تم توزيع استمارة استبيان على ( 100)عينة مختارة عشوائيا من طلبة الكلية، أظهرت النتائج بالنسب المئوية والتحليل الوصفي بأن هناك ضعفا في الوعي البيئي في كيفية التخلص من المخلفات الإلكترونية وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى بعض الاستنتاجات والتوصيات ذات العلاقة بموضوع الدراسة.
Abstract
Electronic wastes are defined as discarded products of operational and
associated technical activities arising from the use of expired, damaged, or
old electronic and electrical devices. The awareness and recognition of
students with the environmental issues related to natural sciences and
technical advances requires highlighting contemporary problems that
contribute to the composition of the society. Therefore, this study was
conducted on students at the College of Arts and Sciences Tokra during
the academic year 2021-2022 to assess the extent of students' awareness of
electronic wastes. Questionnaire forms were randomly distributed to 100
selected samples of the college students. The results represented as percentages and descriptive analysis showed that there is a weak
understating of environmental awareness associated with how to dispose of
electronic wastes. Furthermore, this study represents guidelines and
recommendations to manage and reduce the electronic wastes
