Abstract
Internet gaming disorder has become an important issue that has recently started to spread all over the world. However, there are still differences in the academic community regarding the definition and some of its aspects. This paper attempts to explain the definition, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of gaming disorder, to contribute to the conceptualization of gaming disorder to help future researchers.
