The position of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons regarding withdrawal:

Article 10, paragraph 1 states: "Each Party shall in exercising its national sovereignty have the right to withdraw from the Treaty if it decides that extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of the Treaty, have jeopardized the supreme interests of its country. It shall give notice of such withdrawal to all other Parties to the Treaty and to the United Nations Security Council three months in advance."

The position of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and other Weapons of Mass Destruction on the Seabed and the Ocean Floor and in the Subsoil Thereof:

Article 8: Each State Party to this Treaty, in the exercise of its national sovereignty, has the right to withdraw from this Treaty if it decides that extraordinary events related to the subject matter of the Treaty have jeopardized its supreme interests. It shall give notice of such withdrawal to all other States Parties to the Treaty and to the United Nations Security Council three months in advance, and shall include a statement of the extraordinary events it regards as having jeopardized its supreme interests.
