Social networking sites have been able to achieve a quantum leap through the Internet to embody communication. In addition to achieving the latter, they provide easy and quick communication methods and enable us to promote various goods and services, even ideas, knowledge and information in a fast and enjoyable way, so that it provided the opportunity for many organizations to promote their projects and publicize their programs. This is what charitable institutions have exploited and worked on to develop, as they benefited from the benefits and advantages of social networking sites to activate and promote charitable work. From this point of view, this study aims to know the role that social networking sites play in activating charitable work in Algeria, as it has contributed significantly to achieving the goals of charitable societies, supporting charitable work, spreading the culture of volunteer work and raising community awareness of its importance.
