هدفت الدراسة إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير محتوى الإحصاء بمرحلة التعليم الأساسي في ضوء معايير NCTM، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم المنهجين: الوصفي التحليلي، والوصفي البنائي، وأعد الباحثان أداة التحليل تكونت من (4) معايير رئيسية و(10) معايير فرعية، تم اشتقاقها من قائمة معايير محتوى الإحصاء والاحتمالات للحلقة الثالثة (6-8) الصادرة عن (NCTM, 2000)، استخدمت لتحليل محتوى مجال الإحصاء والاحتمالات من وثيقة منهاج الرياضيات للصفوف (7-9) من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي، وموضوعات الإحصاء والاحتمالات من كتب الرياضيات المدرسية للصفوف (7-9) للعام الدراسي (2021/ 2022م)، وبعد التحقق من ثبات التحليل باستخدام معادلة هوليستي، قام الباحثان بإجراءات التحليل باستخدام التكرارات والنسب المئوية، والمتوسط الحسابي، وقد أظهرت نتائج التحليل أنً درجة توافر معايير NCTM لمجال الإحصاء والاحتمالات كانت بنسبة متوسطة في المعيارين الأول والثاني، وتكاد تكون منعدمة في المعيارين الثالث والرابع. وبناء على النتائج تم وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير محتوى الإحصاء والاحتمالات للصفوف (7-9) من مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في ضوء معايير NCTM، يحتوي على مخرجات تعلم، ومفردات، وعمليات رياضية، وإرشادات، وأمثلة.
وفي ضوء النتائج قدّمت الدراسة عددًا من التوصيات، أبرزها ضرورة تطوير مقررات الإحصاء والاحتمالات بمرحلة التعليم الأساسي في ضوء معايير (NCTM)، وضرورة الاستفادة من التجارب الناجحة للدول التي استندت على فلسفة المعايير في تطوير مناهج الرياضيات، وإثراء محتوى الإحصاء والاحتمالات بأنشطة وظيفية تطبيقية مرتبطة بالحياة العملية تسهم في التوعية بحقائق الحياة، مثل: المظاهر السكانية، والاقتصادية، والبيولوجية.

The study aimed to develop a proposed vision for developing the content of statistics in the basic education stage in the light of NCTM standards. To achieve this, the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach and the structural descriptive approach. The researchers prepared an analysis tool consisting of (4) main criteria and (10) sub-criteria derived from the list of statistics and probabilistic content criteria for the third cycle (6-8) issued by (NCTM, 2000). It was used to analyze the content of the field of statistics and probability from the mathematics curriculum document for grades (7-9) of the basic education stage, as well as the topics of statistics and probability from mathematics books for grades (7-9). For the academic year (2021/2022 AD), and after verifying the stability of the analysis using the comprehensive equation, the researchers conducted the analysis procedures using frequencies, percentages, and the arithmetic mean. The results of the analysis showed that the degree of availability of the NCTM standards for the field of statistics and probability was medium in the first and second standards, and almost non-existent in the third and fourth standards. Based on the results, a proposal was developed to develop the content of statistics and probability for grades (7-9) of the basic education stage in the light of the NCTM standards. It contains learning outcomes, vocabulary, mathematical operations, instructions and examples.
In light of the results, the study presented a number of recommendations, most notably the need to develop statistics and probability courses in basic education in the light of (NCTM) standards, and the need to benefit from the successful experiences of the countries on which they are based. They are based. They were standing. On the philosophy of standards in developing mathematics curricula, enriching the content of statistics and probability with applied functional activities related to life. The process contributes to increasing awareness of the realities of life, such as: demographic, economic and biological aspects.
