نبذة مختصرة

Dr. Dalia Gamil Aseel is an Associate Professor of Plant Protection and Bimolecular Diagnosis Department, Arid Lands Cultivation Research Institute (ALCRI), City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications (SRTA, City), Borg EL-Arab city, Alexandria, Egypt. She received her B.Sc. (2004) in Genetics from Alexandria University, Egypt. M.Sc. (2010) and Ph.D. (2015) in Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, and Microbiology. She has been received Achievement Award (2014) in Recognition and Appreciation of Research Contribution and Great Scientific Achievement for her Distinguished Publications. She has also received the Best Paper Award Certificates (2015 and 2017) in Poster Session from Different International Conferences. She is a Membership of Scientific Societies like; The Egyptian Society for the biological control of pests (2016), Arab Society for Plant Protection (2018), Society of Plant Pathology (2018), and Arab Society for Fungal Conversation (2018-2020). Preface Patent (No.1261) of Diagnostic Group Kit of Potato Leafroll Virus. She serves as an Editorial board member for Scientific Journals. She has recorded some genes in the GenBank sequence database. She has written three books in LAMBERT Academic Publishing (2017and 2018) and one Book chapter in Springer (2020). Study the protection of plant pathology using natural materials such as endophytic fungi or plant extract. Also, the study of the plant immunosystem through the activation of defense mechanism and regulation of gene expression of the various pathogenesis-related protein. In addition, the study of some of the mechanisms likes polyphenolic, flavonoid, and chlorogenic acid biosynthetic pathways genes. Detection of the presence of extreme resistance genes in some plant viruses.
