Ahmed Shama is currently a Ph.D. student at the School of Engineering & Information Technology SEIT at the University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra, Australia. His research interests are in the Irregular induced wave, hydrodynamic loads on marine and offshore structure, and Computational fluid dynamics. Previously, Ahmed has been tutoring various courses of Marine and Mechanical Engineering at the marine engineering department at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport AASTMT, Egypt. Ahmed completed M.Sc. in marine engineering from AASTMT; his thesis examined the oil leakage from subsea pipeline using acoustic emission and computational fluid dynamics. Also, he got the COC certificate of a third marine engineer.
