تهدف الدراسة إلى وضع مواصفات دليل بحث الخرائط الطبوغرافية المصرية، وذلك بالتطبيق على موقع الهيئة المصرية العامة للمساحة، تبدأ الدراسة بمقدمة منهجية شاملة، ثم تقدم تمهيد عن أدلة ومحركات البحث، ثم تناقش الدراسة المعايير التي يجب توافرها في دليل البحث الخاص بالهيئة المصرية العامة للمساحة.
