Issam Tlemsani is a Professor of Finance/Islamic Finance, he has lectured in the UK and GCC regions. He has also provided advisory services to international banks and government bodies, his expertise includes higher education quality assurance, having worked with organizations like AACSB, QAA, CAA, BQA, and HEC. His contributions have been instrumental in designing and implementing graduate-level programs, including Ph.D. and MBA degrees. In his current role as Director of Research at TCIB, Prof. Tlemsani leads interdisciplinary research teams, offering guidance and mentorship. His research spans several critical fields, such as Macroprudential Analysis, FinTech, Digital Currency, Zakat, Wealth Tax, Financial Assets, Islamic Finance, Sustainable Finance, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Prof. Tlemsani has authored over 100 publications in leading finance journals and has been the recipient of numerous prestigious research awards. These include the Best Researcher Award at Zayed University (2013), the Best Paper Award from the Irish Academy of Management (2004), and the Best Research Award from the IABPAD (2010 & 2012). Additionally, he has been featured on Bloomberg TV discussing "Faith in Finance."
