ومهارة الارسال ، هي العنصر الفعال والأكثر اهمية في الحصول على النقاط كونه مفتاح اللعب وهو المهارة التي يستطيع من خلالها اللاعب التنبوأ وتحديد مسار الريشة التي يردها المنافس وبالتالي المبادرة في الهجوم وإحراز النقاط وحسم ألمباراة وتؤدي المتغيرات النفسية دوراً في استيعاب اللاعب واكتسابه المهارة والثقة بالنفس والأداء المتقن من خلال التكرار وخبرة النجاح عن طريق اتباع الاسلوب العلمي الذي يحقق الاهداف المرسومة من قبل المدربين والخبراء والمربين للوصول الى افضل مستوى من الاداء .
مشكلة ألبحث : لاحظ الباحثان وجود تسرع من قبل اللاعبين عند أداء الإرسال في المباريات الزوجية بسبب صغر مساحة لعب الإرسال عنها في اللعب الفردي وهذا نتيجة تخوفهم من فشل الإرسال وهو ناتج عن قلة الاهتمام بالمتغيرات النفسية للاعبين .وهدف البحث الى التعرف على العلاقة بين قلق المنافسة ومستوى أداء الإرسال الخلفي القصير للاعبي الريشة الطائرة عينة البحث وهم لاعبو منتخب جامعات الفرات الاوسط العراقية بالريشة الطائرة والبالغ عددهم 36 لاعب من 8 جامعات عراقية وقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي , والأدوات البحثية وهي معلب ريش نوع yanex ومضارب ريشة وملاعب مجهزة كما استخدم الباحث مقياس قلق المنافسة الذي أعده (راينر مارتنز) وبعد المعالجات الاحصائية توصل الباحثان الى أن واقع قلق المنافسة لعينة البحث هي من المستوى المتوسط اذ بلغ تكرارها (18) وبنسبة مئوية مقدارها (50 % ) .
وقد اوصى الباحثان : بضرورة الاهتمام بالعامل النفسي وأعطى التدريب الذهني والنفسي اهتماما من قبل المدربين والمختصين في مجال لعبة الرشة الطائرة .
