هدفت الورقة إلى التعرف على الإطار الفلسفي للجامعة المنتجة، وماهية الجامعة المنتجة، وأهم، وما الدواعي والحيثيات للأخذ بها، وتحديد الأسس والمنطلقات لتفعيل مشروع للجامعة المنتجة، ثم محاولة التعرف على علاقة اقتصاديات التعليم بالجامعة المنتجة، ليتطبق ذلك في إظهار تجربة تطبيق أنموذج الجامعة المنتجة بجامعة إفريقيا العالمية، ومن النتائج المتوصل إليها هي أن تطبيق نمط الجامعة المنتجة توفر مصادر تمويل العملية التعليمية متنوعة للتخفيف من مخاطر تغيرات مصادر التمويل التقليدية، وأن تطبيق نمط الجامعة المنتجة حصلت جامعة إفريقيا العالمية على عائد من تطبيق نمط الجامعة المنتجة بنسبة (61%) من الموازنة السنوية للعام 2018م، وفي العام 2019م أنجز (94%) موارد ذاتية بالميزانية التشغيلية للجامعة، و قد ساهمت مزرعة الجامعة بنسبة (70%) من عائدات تطبيق نمط الجامعة المنتجة، كما حققت الجامعة فلسفة التحول إلى نمط الجامعة المنتجة القائمة على أن يكون الطالب شريكاً أصيلاً فيها بغرض تأهيله في الجانب التطبيقي في كليات عده منها كلية تقانة الإنتاج والتصنيع الزراعي، وكلية الهندسة، وكلية الإعلام.
