يناقش هذا البحث موضوع من أهم الموضوعات ذات الصلة بحياة البشر وأمنهم القومي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي والسياسي، المتعلق بجرائم المخدرات، التي أصبحت من أخطر المشاكل التي تواجه جميع دول العالم, حيث أن الآثار الضارة لهذه الجرائم لم تعد مقصورةً على بلد بعينه أو على منطقة مُحدَّدة، بل تعدَّت ذلك إلى المجتمع الدولي بأسْره. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان قواعد القانون الدولي العام لمكافحة جرائم الإتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات، وكذا الآليات التي انتهجتها جامعةِ الدُّول العربيَّة والمشرع اليمني لمكافحة هذا النوع من الجرائم، كما يهدف هذا البحث إلى إيجاد وعي قانوني بخطورة هذا النوع من الجرائم وبأهمية التعاون الدولي في مكافحتها. وقد اشتمل هذا البحث على مدخل تمهيدي ومبحثين، تم تخصيص المبحث الأول منه لدراسة التشريع الدولي لمكافحة جرائم المخدرات، وتم تخصيص المبحث الثاني لدراسة مكافحة المخدرات في إطار جامعةِ الدُّول العربيَّة وأحكام القانون اليمني. وقد اعتمدت في كتابة هذا البحث على المنهج التحليلي والاستعانة بالمنهج المقارن، ثم اختتمت البحث بمجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات.

Abstract
This research discusses one of the most important issues related to human life and national, economic, social and political security: Drug crimes, which have become one of the most serious problems facing all States of the world, since the harmful effects of these crimes are no longer confined to a particular country or region. I have even moved this to the entire international community.
This research aims at indicating the rules of general international law to combat the crimes of illicit drug trafficking, as well as the mechanisms adopted by the League of Arab States and the Yemeni legislature to combat this type of crime. This research also aims to create legal awareness of the seriousness of this type of crime and of the importance of international cooperation in combating it.
This research included preliminary and research input, the first of which was devoted to the study of international legislation to combat drug crimes. The second research has been devoted to the study of drug control within the framework of the League of Arab States and the provisions of Yemeni law
In writing, I relied on the analytical approach and the use of the comparative approach, and the research concluded with a set of conclusions and recommendations.
