هدفت الدراسة التعرف على العلاقة بين المهارات الاجتماعية والتوافق النفسي الاجتماعي لدى طلاب الشهادة الثانوية بمدينة مصراته، وذلك على عينة مكونة من (260) طالباً وطالبة تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية الطبقية، استخدم المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، أما أدوات الدراسة المستخدمة فكانت مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية من إعداد رونالد ريجيو تعريب عبد اللطيف محمد خليفة ومقياس التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي لزينب الأوجلي، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها: وجود فروق دالة بين الذكور والإناث في الحساسية الانفعالية، والتعبير الانفعالي، والحساسية الاجتماعية، والدرجة الكلية للمهارات الاجتماعية وكانت هذه الفروق لصالح الذكور، بينما كانت لصالح الإناث فيما يتعلق بالضبط الاجتماعي، كما أنه لا توجد فروق دالة بين الذكور والإناث في التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي. في حين أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين طلاب القسم الأدبي والعلمي في الدرجة الكلية للمهارات الاجتماعية والأبعاد الخاصة لكل من التعبير الانفعالي والحساسية الاجتماعية، وكانت هذه الفروق لصالح طلاب التخصص العلمي. كما أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين طلاب القسم الأدبي والعلمي في التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي فيما يتعلق بنوع الفروق بين رتب درجات المبحوثين وفق متغير التخصص، كما لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة في المهارات الاجتماعية وفق متغير العمر سواء في الدرجة الكلية أو الأبعاد الفرعية للمهارات الاجتماعية كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة في التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي وفقا للعمر.. كما توجد علاقة ولكن غير دالة إحصائيا بين المهارات الاجتماعية والتوافق النفسي الاجتماعي.

The study aimed to identify the relationship between social skills
and psychosocial compatibility among high school graduates in
Misrata, on a sample of (260) students selected in the method of
random class sample, used the descriptive method of correlation,
while the study tools used were the measure of social skills prepared
by Ronald Reggio translated by Abdul Latif Mohammed Khalifa and
the measure of psychosocial compatibility of Zainab Al-Ogli, and the
study reached the most important results. There are significant
differences between males and females in emotional sensitivity,
emotional expression, social sensitivity , and the overall degree of
social skills, which were in favor of males, while in favour of females
in relation to social exactly, there are no significant differences
between males and females in psychosocial compatibility. While the
results indicated that there were statistically significant differences
between students of the literary and scientific department in the
overall degree of social skills and the special dimensions of both
emotional expression and social sensitivity, these differences were in
favor of students of scientific specialization. There are also no
statistically significant differences between
scientific department in the psychosocial compatibility with
regard to the type of differences between the grades of the researchers
according to the variable specialization, nor do there be significant
differences in social skills according to the variable age, either in the
overall degree or the sub-dimensions of social skills, and the results
indicated significant differences in psychosocial compatibility
according to age. There is also a statistically uncasing relationship
between social skills and psychosocial compatibility and students of the literary
