يهدف هذا الكتاب بشكل اساسي إلى تحليل دور الجهاز المصرفي في تعبئة وتخصيص المدخرات لتحقيق النمو الاقتصادي، من خلال تناول الاطار النظري للجهاز المصرفي للتعرف على مفهوم ومكونات وأهداف الجهاز المصرفي، ووظائف ومؤشرات قياس كفاءة أداء الجهاز المصرفي؛ علاة على تناول الإطار النظري للنمو الاقتصادي للتعرف على مفهوم ومؤشرات القياس النمو الاقتصادي، ومحددات ومصادر تمويل النمو الاقتصادي. كما تناول هذا الكتاب تحديد دور الجهاز المصرفي في تعبئة وتخصيص المدخرات بين القطاعات الاقتصادية، وتحديد دور الجهاز المصرفي في تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي. ويستمد الكتاب أهميته من الدور الرائد للجهاز المصرفي في تخصيص وتوظيف المدخرات بين القطاعات الاقتصادية لتحقيق النمو الاقتصادي. وقد اعتمد الباحث على المنهج التحليل الوصفي لتحقيق هدف الكتاب. وتوصل الباحث إلى وجود علاقة ترابط بين حجم الودائع المصرفية باعتبارها الوعاء الإدخاري لتمويل الائتمان المصرفي ، ومتوسط نصيب الفرد من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي كمعبر عن النمو الاقتصادي.

Abstract
This book mainly aims to analyze the role of the banking system in mobilizing and allocating savings to achieve economic growth, by addressing the theoretical framework of the banking system to identify the concept, components and objectives of the banking system, and the functions and indicators of measuring the efficiency of the banking system’s performance; Moreover, it deals with the theoretical framework of economic growth to get acquainted with the concept and indicators of measuring economic growth, and the determinants and sources of financing economic growth. This book also dealt with defining the role of the banking system in mobilizing and allocating savings among economic sectors, and defining the role of the banking system in achieving economic growth. The book derives its importance from the leading role of the banking system in allocating and utilizing savings among economic sectors to achieve economic growth. The researcher relied on the descriptive analysis method to achieve the goal of the book. The researcher concluded that there is a correlation between the volume of bank deposits as the savings vessel for financing bank credit, and the average per capita GDP as an expression of economic growth.
