تعد الرسائل والإطاريح الجامعية النتاج الفكري لكل قسم وتعبر عن اهداف القسم في المضي بالبحث والتقصي وراء العلوم للوصول الى الهدف المنشود وهو حل مشكلات الانسان والعصر، وقسم الجغرافية في كلية التربية للبنات –جامعة بغداد جزء من المسيرة العلمية للجامعة ،لذلك تناولت هذه الدراسة النتاج الفكري منذ فتح الدراسات العليا في القسم (1995 ولغاية نهاية عام 2019 م) وتناولت الدراسة للكشف عن مجموع أعداد الطلاب الدكتوراه والماجستير ومدى تباينها من سنة الى أخرى، فضلا عن الكشف عن مدى التوازن بين التخصصات الدقيقة للجغرافية وتقسيم الطلاب الى ذكور و أناث لغاية جعل التقديم والقبول للإناث فقط (2007) ،كما حاولت الدراسة الوصول الى تحليل النتائج والبحث عن تفسيرات منطقية لها ; إذ بلغ مجموع الطلاب الدراسات العليا كليا (159)، وجاء عدد الدكتوراه (45) طالب وطالب الماجستير (114) ،اما من حيث التخصصات فجأت ( 58 ) طالب جغرافية طبيعية و(87) جغرافية بشرية ،و ( 10) مشترك ما بين والبيئة وخرائط والدراسة الطبيعي والبشري متجه نحو الاقليمية ، وإما فيما يخص طلبة الدكتوراه فأن ( 16 ) طالب في حقل الجغرافية الطبيعية و ( 26 ) للتخصص البشري والمشترك (3)، أما وطلبة الماجستير أظهرت الدراسة ان ( 42 ) قد تخصص في الجغرافية الطبيعية ،وتخصص ( 61 ) طالب في الجغرافية البشرية و(7) مشترك، أما فيما يتعلق بالتخصصات الدقيقة فكانت النسبة العالية لتخصص ( الجيمور ) إذ حاز على اعلى تكرار للجغرافية الطبيعية للدكتوراه و(السياسية )للقسم البشري إما الماجستير حل( الجيمور) ايضا بتكرار أعلى من بقية التخصصات وجاءت جغرافية مدن بأعلى تكرار خلال مدة الدراسة ،اظهرت الدراسة انه كانت هناك مدة يقبل فيها الذكور الا انها توفقت بعد ذلك وكان ذلك السنة الدراسية 2006-2007 .

The theses and university thesis are the intellectual output of each department and express the goals of the department in proceeding with research and investigation behind the sciences to reach the desired goal which is to solve the problems of man and the age, and the department of geography in the College of Education for Girls - University of Baghdad is part of the scientific process of the university, so this study examined the intellectual output since He opened postgraduate studies in the department (1995 until the end of 2019) and examined the study to reveal the total numbers of Ph.D and MA students and the extent of their variation from one year to the next, as well as revealing the balance between the fine specializations of geography and the division of students into males and females in order to make progress Female admission only (2007), as the study attempted to arrive at analyzing results and searching for logical explanations for them As the total of postgraduate students totaled (159), and the number of doctorates (45) students and masters students came (114), but in terms of specializations, there were (58) natural geographic students, (87) human geography, and (10) inter-regional The environment and maps, or with regard to doctoral students, (16) students in the field of natural geography and (26) for human and joint specialization (3), and for masters students, the study showed that (42) have specialized in natural geography, and (61) students have specialized in geography Humanity and (7) are common, but with regard to subspecies, the high percentage of (Gymnor) specialization was that it had the highest repetition of the natural geography of the doctor Rah and (the political) of the human department, either master, dissolve (the gymnasium) also with a higher frequency than the rest of the disciplines, and the geography of cities came with the highest frequency during the study period.
