Sherouk J. completed a PhD of Philosophy in the Educational Psychology program at the Faculty of Education at the IIUM. She developed a new reliable and valid instrument, which featured good psychometric properties, to measure critical thinking skills, and obtained The All Right Reserved Letter by IIUM on September 2013. Sherouk is currently searching for and advising others on how to enhance their 21st century skills, especially critical thinking and problem solving, in their education, careers, and lifestyles. She believes that the use of these skills can help bridge the marked gap between the urgent requirement for these skills in the 21st century, and the current education and curriculum offered in our societies. Moreover, she has written a number of papers and publications, and she has also participated in many conferences related to these essential skills.
