Research Abstract
Research Subject : Plastic Values in Masks As An Approach For Teaching Painting.
The study divided into two parts:
Chapter One: Researcher focused on introduction of the research, problem, its target and its value, limits, methodology, related studies and idioms of research.
Chapter Two, and its Title: “Masks and its historical values “.
Researcher presents a historical introduction explains importance of African, ancient Egyptian and Fayoum’s faces.
In addition to shapes and classification of different masks based on historical function sides and its raw materials.
Chapter Three, and its Title: “ Formation Values in Masks”
Researcher present in it a description for the African masks, ancient Egyptian and Fayoum’ Faces, Firstly: The formation handling to these masks. And in side the study the present most important values for these formation, its color, manipulations and meanings. Secondly: presentation for used techniques in that masks and material agents for that formation on masks surfaces. Such as contact values; protruding and hollow. Thirdly: Raw materials and its usage in masks and number of different raw materials from woods, ivory, metal, wax and linen.
Chapter Four, and its Tile : “Research experiment”
Researcher present in this chapter, procedures, method and Study’s applied experimental steps for the research subject. Moreover, unit’s contents and pictures for the both chooses, tribal and dimensional and samples of students works for the three methods: Differ in color,differ in technique and differ in raw material.
Chapter Five:
Lastly, researcher present the theoretical and applied results of the study, and recommendations.
