تعتبر عملية الرقى بالعنصر البشري ( اخصائى المعلومات ) من العمليات الضرورية والهامة والتي تؤثر تأثيراً ايجابياً على كفاءة سير العمل بالمكتبات ومراكز المعلومات. وفى ضؤ التطورات التقنية المتلاحقة التي يشهدها مجال المعلومات اقتضى الأمر توفير اخصائى معلومات قادر على مواكبة ماتفرزه هذه التقنيات والتي بدورها أثرت في الدور المنوط لأخصائيي المعلومات ، ولقد تغير دور اخصائى المعلومات في ضؤ الغزو التقني للمعلومات حتى أصبح وسيط للمعلومات ، والمكتبي الرقمي ، وأمين مكتبة المستقبل ، واخصائيى الشبكات .وهذا إن دل على شيء فإنما يدل على التغير الواضح في مهنة المكتبيين وضخامة الدور الذي ينهضون به في عصر المعلومات .
وفى خضم هذه الثورة المعلوماتية والتقنية يبرز لنا شئ في غاية الأهمية ألا وهو حاجة أخصائي مكتبة المستقبل إلى التدريب وتجديد معلوماته ومهاراته وكفاءاته
Abstract
The process of sophistication to the human element ( Information Specialist ) from operations necessary and important and positive impact on the efficient functioning of libraries and information centers . In the light of technical developments successive taking place in the field of information necessary to provide specialist information is able to keep up with Matffersh these technologies , which in turn influenced the role of information professionals , and has changed the role of the information specialist in the light of the invasion technical information until it became a broker of information, desktop , digital librarian future , and networking specialists . if this indicates anything, it indicates the apparent change in the profession of librarians and the magnitude of the role that standing up in the information age .
In the midst of this revolution in information technology and technical highlights us something very important : the need for specialist training to the future library and renovation of his knowledge , skills and competencies
